Objectives of the Programme :
* The aim of the program is to educate students for their career goals by providing them with knowledge and different skills in the fields of international relations, especially International Politics, Political History and International Law.
* Our graduates can pursue their careers in universities and think tanks as individuals who can think analytically and critically with theoretical knowledge and vision regarding the political, social and economic structure of the international system.
* By achieving success in professional exams thanks to the professional knowledge, language and communication skills they have gained, they can become assistant specialists, state officials, career diplomats, etc. They are employed in various ministries, public institutions and organizations, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in positions mentioned.
* Thanks to the theoretical background, conceptual richness and effective communication skills they acquire, they have the opportunity to work in the private sector in many fields, especially multinational companies, banking and international trade..
* Thanks to the global, socially inclusive and ethical perspective they have acquired in connection with the notion of sustainability, they take part in various international organizations and non-governmental organizations active on issues such as human rights, environment, economy and security.
 
Learning Outcomes of the Programme :
Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to :
OP-1 : They will have the conceptual and theoretical background to carry out advanced studies in the field of International Relations and its basic sub-branches (International Politics, Political History, International Law). (Knowledge + Competence)
OP-2 : Having the ability to understand, explain and use the basic elements, concepts, and methodology of the discipline, one can associate them with today's global problems. (Knowledge + Skill)
OP-3 : One can use information and communication technologies at the level required by the field. (Knowledge + Skill + Competence)
OP-4 : One can use at least one foreign language at least at the European Language Portfolio B1 General Level. (Skill + Competency)
OP-5 : One can access information related to the field, research resources for this purpose and use databases and other sources. (Competence)
OP-6 : One can develop analytical approaches relying on a prospective perspective by understanding the historical roots of international, political, social and economic events. (Knowledge + Skill)
OP-7 : One can develop an ability to evaluate the information acquired in the field within the framework of a cause-effect relationship and from a critical perspective, so that one can predict what information would be utilised, where, when and how. (Competence)
OP-8 : One can act in accordance with scientific and ethical principles while using the expert knowledge acquired in the field. (Competence)
OP-9 : One can conduct analysis by employing qualitative and quantitative methods in line with the aim of gaining conceptual and theoretical knowledge about the field. (Competence)
OP-10 : One can carry out interdisciplinary studies in the field, both independently and collectively, in relation to sister disciplines and other social science fields. (Skill + Competency)
OP-11 : One can have the awareness of lifelong learning and questioning from a perspective based on Research-Development. (Competence)
OP-12 : One can share the knowledge and skills has acquired in the field verbally and in written. (Skill + Competency)
