Objectives of the Programme :Preparing teachers who: have first class knowledge of Turkish language with its historic and cultural background; are aware of the meaning and nature of language; importance of language in society; language-culture relationship; will be able to transfer Turkish language as a national heritage; will develop reading, speaking and writing skills of young generation in Turkish at the highest level; have a positive and caring attitude towards their students and actively promote success in learning; believes teaching Turkish language as a way of life; will educate primary school students with awareness and love of language; have a modern approach to the teaching of their subject; understand how school students learn and develop; are skilled in the use of modern technology.

LO-1 : have content knowledge at an adequate level.
LO-2 : have pedagogical content knowledge at an adequate level.
LO-3 : design the appropriate learning environments in order to enrich the process of learning and teaching.
LO-4 : know various teaching methods and techniques within the process of learning and teaching.
LO-5 : know the basic learning fields and objectives of the Turkish curriculum.
LO-6 : evaluate the students' language development through the use of various measurement and assessment techniques.
