The aim of the course:
The main objective of this course is to inform the students about the ongoing debates in the comparative politics literature and to help them gain skills that will enable them to analyze basic concepts and problems.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Understand the main debates in the comparative politics literatüre5,91,

Contents of the Course
This course aims to analyze the development of the Comparative Politics field and therefore will cover the following topics: Methods in comparative politics, regime types, democracies and other systems, regime change, political culture, political parties and party systems, elections and electoral systems, government types, lobby groups.
