The aim of the course:
To examine in detail the relations between religion and the state and the impact of this relationship on institutions

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : understand the relationship between politics, religion and other social institutions2,71,

LO - 3 : understand the relations between religion, state and society in Ottoman and Republican era2,71,

Contents of the Course
In this course, after giving general information about the origins of religion and the divine religions, the effects of the institution of politics and religion on some states, relations between religion and the state and the practices of secularism will be examined
