The aim of the course:
Recognize and distinguish the underlying etiological factors and mechanisms and the concepts of injury, inflammation and neoplasia.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Learns and distinguishes the etiological factors and mechanisms underlying common diseases of domestic animals and the basic concepts of injury, inflammation and neoplasia.1,31
LO - 2 : Understands the morphologies, causes and consequences of basic cellular adaptations and injuries.1,31
LO - 3 : Understands errors in blood clotting, disorders in blood circulation and their consequences. Understands inflammation and its types, cellular and chemical mediators of inflammation, and immunological reactions1,31
LO - 4 : Understands basic healing and repair concepts and processes.1,31
LO - 5 : Understand the basic characteristics, causes, spread and tumor types of pet tumors.1,31
LO - 6 : It generally distinguishes between macroscopically normal tissue and lesion-developed tissue.1,31
LO - 7 : Can establish a relationship between the macroscopic appearance and the microscopic structure that causes it.1,31

Fire and classification; Regeneration-organization; Degenerations; Blood flow and circulatory disorders; Classification of Reverzible and irreverzible cell injuries (degeneration and necrosis); Cellular adaptation patterns (cellular atrophy, hypertrophy, hyperplasia, metaplasia, dysplasia) as well as agenesis, aplasia; General characteristics, classification and naming of tumors, general characteristics of benign and malignant tumors
