The aim of the course:
To introduce the basic nutrients (carbohydrates, fat, protein, minerals, vitamins and water), to teach their functions, general properties of feeds and feeds and nutrient contents, to give information about the value of feeds and the concepts of nutrient requirements for farm animals. To give information about ration preparation principles.

Contents of the Course
Definitions of animal nutrition, basic nutrients, body needs, digestive systems and differences of different species, fodder crops, Definition of coarse and concentrated feeds, feed additives, feed processing, ration preparation methods, nutrition related disorders.
