The aim of this course is to make students: understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type; introduce themselves and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he lives, people he knows and things he has; interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

| Students learn the conjugation of Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3 verbs. These verbs are used in simple sentences, and students do practice exercises about them. The pronunciation of the verbs is taught, and students practice saying them. The meanings of the verbs are explained through the sentences.
Students are given homework and group activities, and these are checked in class. With the help of a short text, students learn how to introduce themselves, and they practice this by speaking in class. They also learn how to talk about their daily routine in a basic way while introducing themselves.
The topic of self-introduction is practiced through simple dialogues, and the vocabulary in the dialogues and texts is also studied.
