| Objectives of the Programme : |

| In art teaching program it is aimed bringing up art teaching candidates towards Turkish national education requirements and art education needs. |

| Learning Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | have the skills of establishing healthy communication with students and colleagues and use Turkish fluently and correctly according to its rules. |
|
| OP-2 : | have the sufficient level of knowledge about Art Teaching in order to meet the needs of students. |
|
| OP-3 : | have the pedagogical knowledge and skills about teaching profession and know and apply contemporary teaching methods and techniques and measurement-assessment methods. |
|
| OP-4 : | have the sufficient level of foreign language knowledge in order to monitor foreign resources about his/her field. |
|
| OP-5 : | have the skill of using information and communication technology effectively for art teaching. |
|
| OP-6 : | know the developmental properties and learning patterns of art students and plan, develop material and make executions according to these properties.

|
| OP-7 : | have enough knowledge about structure and the historical development of Turkish Educational System. |
|
| OP-8 : | become a teacher who is faithful to Ataturk?s principles and revolutions, trusting in democracy, conscious about Turkish national, moral, ethical and cultural values and being sensitive to these aspects in his/her profession. |

| OP-9 : | contribute to their culture as a lifelong art creator and as a conscious consumer |

| OP-10 : | develop aesthetical skills in order to enrich their environment and they are disturbed about the distortedness of the environment |

| OP-11 : | execute interdisciplinary studies, have enough level of knowledge of Turkish, biology, medicine, mathematics, media, art and fields like these to be able to relate his/her course with other different disciplines. |

| OP-12 : | acquire visual readability and will use art as a visual communication and assessment tool and acquire trust and sufficiency |

| OP-13 : | protect natural and cultural values and know historical places, art galleries, museums, designing studios. |
