| Objectives of the Programme : |

| In music teaching program it is aimed bringing up music teaching candidates towards Turkish national education requirements and music education needs. |

| Learning Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | use Turkish language appropriately and effectively and have skills to be able to communicate with pupils effectively. |
|
| OP-2 : | acquire sufficient subject matter knowledge in primary and secondary education |
|
| OP-3 : | acquire sufficient pedagogical content knowledge in primary and secondary education; know and apply contemporary teaching, measurement and assessment methods and techniques. |
|
| OP-4 : | acquire foreign language skills at the level of following resources written in foreign languages. |
|
| OP-5 : | acquire sufficient technical and pedagogical skills in using Information and Communications Technology for educational purposes. |
|
| OP-6 : | know development features and learning styles of students at primary and secondary education level, and will be able to plan education according to students? characteristics and apply into practice. |
|
| OP-7 : | acquire sufficient knowledge about structure and historical development of Turkish Educational System. |
|
| OP-8 : | become teachers who are dedicated to Atatürk's Principles and Reforms, believing in democracy, and conscious about Turkish national, spiritual, moral and cultural values and sensitive towards these values in their profession. |

| OP-9 : | acquire scientific and analytic thinking skills, know scientific research methods and techniques, and become teachers as researchers |

| OP-10 : | be sensitive towards society, environment, human beings, art and sport activities around them and educate young ones who are beneficial to society, confident about the future, critical and explorers. |
