| Objectives of the Programme : |

| The postgraduate Masters in Science (MSc) programme in Department of Physiology of Black Sea Technical University operates considering the 2547-Law of Higher Education and the item numbered 65 Regulation Related to Postgraduate Studies Implementing Regulation Related to Doctorate Studies by Interuniversity Council (UAK) and the main framework by the Higher Educational Committee, and provides adequate information and skill at national and international standards in field of Medical Physiology and aims at acquiring capacity of planning, performing and interpreting the scientific research by actively involving the process during the MSc studies. |

| Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | Students learn general knowledge on the normal functions of the human body. |
|
| OP-2 : | Students gain basic knowledge on the processes involved in maintaining homeostasis (keeping the internal environment constant within certain limits), metabolic reactions and feedback mechanisms. |
|
| OP-3 : | Students learn the mechanisms that provide normal body functions within the scope of cells, tissues, organs and systems. |
|
| OP-4 : | Students gain knowledge about adaptation to different environmental conditions (such as adaptation to high altitude) and the pathophysiological process of common dysfunctions such as aging, heart diseases and infertility. |

| OP-5 : | Graduates effectively use basic techniques for study (or experiment) and analysis in the physiology laboratory. |

| OP-6 : | Graduates can design experiments and interpret data. |

| OP-7 : | Graduates can express their acquired knowledge and skills both verbally and in writing. |

| OP-8 : | Graduates can analyze the theoretical and practical knowledge they have learned and offer solutions to problems. |
