| In order to support the scientific infrastructure of our region and our country, it is aimed to educate qualified, competent and qualified experts who can work in the pharmaceutical industry which is strategic importance for our country, as well as to raise doctoral students who can be competitive. |

| Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1: | Gain knowledge of synthesizing new therapeutic compounds that can act as drugs and/or obtaining them from natural/biological sources. |
|
| OP-2: | Gains knowledge about modification of therapeutic compounds for more effective and less toxic effects, structural analysis of the obtained compounds, activity determinations, structure-effect relationships. |
|
| OP-3: | Gains the knowledge and skills required to turn therapeutic compounds into the most suitable and effective pharmaceutical form for use as drugs, to examine their pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties and possible toxicities. |
|
| OP-4: | Have the theoretical/practical knowledge and skills to work safely in the laboratory. |

| OP-5: | Uses all computer software and devices required by the program at an advanced level. |
|
| OP-6: | Gains skills to bring innovation to science, to define and solve problems. |
|
| OP-7: | Analyzes research findings, discusses and interprets scientific literature data. |
|
| OP-8: | Contributes to the development of national and international research projects and becomes an independent director/researcher. |

| OP-9: | Takes an active role in research teams in interdisciplinary studies. |

| OP-10: | Can apply their knowledge of pharmaceutical products including drugs and cosmetics to education, industry, agriculture, health and environmental problems. |

| OP-11: | Can write national or international articles or projects that will contribute to the scientific literature. |

| OP-12: | Contributes to the needs of the society regarding drug / natural product analysis / formulation / biological and pharmacological activity. |
