| Objectives of the Programme : |

| Fine arts education department has a speciality that supply source of national education system by teaching in music and art teacher branches. Students are being educated towards art and music branches justification and they gradute as a successful candidate teachers. Students who are educated according to the needs of the programme, rudiments of art education and principles of Turkish national education become an important element of the Turkish art education system. |

| Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | They have the skills of establishing healthy communication with students and colleagues and use Turkish fluently and correctly according to its rules.

| OP-2 : | They have the sufficient level of knowledge about Art Teaching in order to meet the needs of students. |
|
| OP-3 : | They have the pedagogical knowledge and skills about teaching profession and know and apply contemporary teaching methods and techniques and measurement-assessment methods. |
|
| OP-4 : | They have the sufficient level of foreign language knowledge in order to monitor foreign resources about his/her field. |
|
| OP-5 : | They have the skill of using information and communication technology effectively for art teaching. |
|
| OP-6 : | They know the developmental properties and learning patterns of art students and plan, develop material and make executions according to these properties. |

| OP-7 : | They have enough knowledge about structure and the historical development of Turkish Educational System.

| OP-8 : | They become a teacher who is faithful to Ataturk?s principles and revolutions, trusting in democracy, conscious about Turkish national, moral, ethical and cultural values and being sensitive to these aspects in his/her profession. |

| OP-9 : | Students will contribute to their culture as a lifelong art creator and as a conscious consumer |

| OP-10 : | They develop aesthetical skills in order to enrich their environment and they are disturbed about the distortedness of the environment |

| OP-11 : | They execute interdisciplinary studies, have enough level of knowledge of Turkish,history,geology, tecnology, media, art and fields like these to be able to relate his/her course with other different disciplines.

| OP-12 : | Students will acquire visual readability and will use art as a visual communication and assessment tool and acquire trust and sufficiency

| OP-13 : | They could develop creative behaviors which could be used in variety of fields |
