| Department was established to help increase the number of staff members in different social areas, and to educate researchers to serve in various institutions in the country. |

| Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | apply the economic theories in explaining economic events and analyzing economic issues. |

| OP-2 : | Develop and deepen the current and advanced knowledge in economics with original thought and/or research and come up with innovative definitions based on Master's degree qualifications. |

| OP-3 : | Gain advanced level skills in the use of research methods in economics. |
|
| OP-4 : | Contribute the progression in economics by producing an innovative idea, skill, design and/or practice or by adapting an already known idea, skill, design, and/or practice to a different field independently. |

| OP-5 : | Defend original views when exchanging ideas in the economics with professionals and communicate effectively by showing competence in the field. |

| OP-6 : | acquire knowledge of contemporary problems. |
