| Objectives of the Programme : |

| Students will demonstrate advanced knowledge of the core areas of physics, including mechanics, electricity and magnetism, thermal physics, and quantum mechanics. Students will demonstrate a mastery of the concepts and literature of a specific sub-discipline of physics, such as theoretical condensed matter physics or experimental particle physics. Students will demonstrate the ability to communicate scientific results effectively, both verbally and in writing. |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | Develop and deepen current and advanced knowledge in the field of physics with original thought and/or research at the level of expertise and reach original definitions that will bring innovation to the field. |

| OP-2 : | To be able to comprehend the interdisciplinary interaction that physics is related to; can reach original results by using knowledge that requires expertise in analyzing, synthesizing and evaluating new and complex ideas. |

| OP-3 : | An ability to learn the techniques needed (theoretical, experimental, programming, etc.) |

| OP-4 : | Have skills such as literature review, experiment design, project design and development required for research. |

| OP-5 : | An ability to work as a team member in research groups and have the ability to take responsibility. |
