Objectives of the Programme :Educate students so that they acquire relevant knowledge about forestry and related fields; develop student's ability to solve problems using the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools; develop student's ability to utilize his/her knowledge in designing, conducting and analyzing results for solving basic forestry related problems; develop student's ability to effectively communicate.

LO-1 : Have the ability to use basic professional and engineering knowledge at highly specialised level
LO-2 : Design, develop, and apply methods and experiments to solve forestry problems, and analyse and interpret their results at highly specialised level
LO-3 : Identify, plan and solve forestry problems at highly specialised level
LO-4 : Setup interdisciplinary approach to reach a solution for forestry problems at highly specialised level
LO-5 : Show due professional and ethical responsibility at times of identification and solution of forestry problems at highly specialised level
LO-6 : Work on his own or in multidisciplinary groups at highly specialised level and achieve an effective communication in such group activities
LO-7 : Understand the necessity for life-long learning at highly specialised level, and use the methods to keep up to date on geological experience obtained
LO-8 : Identify forestry and other related problems at highly specialised level brought about by current global developments
LO-9 : Use tools and techniques required for forestry applications at highly specialised level
LO-10 : Using a three dimensional perspective, think, interpret, analyse and solve forestry problems at highly specialised level
LO-11 : Search and investigate any kinds of natural resources, and produce highly specialised reports on achieved findings
LO-12 : Have the ability to use effectively the information processing techniques at highly specialised level
