| Objectives of the Programme : |
 | | The objectives of the programme are to educate students with vertebrate wildlife, especially birds, mammals and freshwater fish, amphibians, reptiles and insects and other invertebrates, wildlife biology, ecology, mountain, steppe, wetland ecosystems, wildlife conservation, disease fight, injured animals, maintenance and improvement, fill-in the museum by the embalming material preparation, hunting plans, hunting tourism, integrating biodiversity into Forest Management Planning, nature photography tours and bird-watching tours, ecotourism activities, based on sustainable planning conservation. The program aims to train qualified personnel to ensure wildlife conservation and management on a sustainable basis. The students of the Department, Department of Forest Engineering, Biology and Department of Fisheries Technology Engineering can study mater at The Department of Wildlife Ecology and Management. The department has a wildlife museum and a zoology laboratory. There are also Laboratory of Entomology, GIS (Geographic Information System) Laboratory, Forest Botany Laboratory and computer labs that can be used jointly. Under the frame of major research groups of The Department of Wildlife Ecology and Management, the following research studies are conducted: Mammals, Birds, Amphibian, Reptiles, Freshwater Fish, Game and Wildlife, Threatened Birds and Mammals Species, Nature Conservation, Biodiversity, Ecotourism, Game Management, Wildlife Ecology, Wildlife Management, Department of Wildlife Ecology and Management has close relationship with European Universities under Erasmus Programme to co-operate, produce and implement joint projects, short-term exchange of students and academic staff. | | | | Outcomes of the Programme : |
