| Objectives of the Programme : |

| Doctorate program in nursing trains graduates in order produce and expand information in both academic and working areas, train scientists and support the positions of leader, trainer and researchers that will be influential on health system. It aims at training researchers and instructors being able to carry out the courses of nursing and conduct evident based studies in this field. In addition, it is aimed that students starting their doctorate program can carry out original researches in the field and sport information production in this process. |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | Develops their knowledge of the field of nursing at the level of expertise; uses their knowledge to analyze, synthesize and evaluate new and complex ideas. |

| OP-2 : | Knows the nursing theories, the importance of ethical principles and values for the individual and society. |
|
| OP-3 : | Has knowledge about research methods and statistical analysis used in scientific studies in the field of nursing. |
|
| OP-4 : | Independently evaluate a subject that will bring innovation to the field with a systematic approach, plans and implements a new research design, publishes it in a national/internationally accepted refereed journal, presents it at scientific meetings. |

| OP-5 : | Knows the use of technological devices and tools required by health applications, including computers, at an advanced level and applies them in the field of nursing. |

| OP-6 : | Uses management and leadership skills in solving nursing field and related interdisciplinary problems. |

| OP-7 : | Develops new ideas and methods with an innovative approach by using critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills in solving problems related to the field of nursing. |

| OP-8 : | Plans and implements evidence-based research that will bring innovation in the field of nursing. |

| OP-9 : | Follows the current literature in the field of nursing and aims at lifelong learning. |

| OP-10 : | Communicates effectively with experts in the field of nursing, discusses the issues with a critical perspective and defends their original thinking. |

| OP-11 : | Using at least one foreign language at an advanced level, establishes written, verbal and visual communication with experts in the field within the scope of science and technology policy. |

| OP-12 : | Contributes to the solution of physical, mental, social, cultural and ethical problems related to the individual and society by using strategic decision-making processes. |

| OP-13 : | By working with other health disciplines, it monitors the scientific, technological, social and cultural development of the society in which it lives and informs the society in this context. |
