| Objectives of the Programme : |

| The objectives of the department are to perform research and develop nationally and internationally acceptable projects for current and future problems in Electrical and Electronics Engineering areas, to participate in national and international scientific projects, to develop theoretical and practical applications as a part of advanced technology applications. |

| Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | To carry the knowledge in the field beyond the graduate level, to develop it at the level of expertise, to deepen (knowledge) and to use the theoretical and applied knowledge gained, to produce new knowledge and to develop original methods (skill). |
|
| OP-2 : | To be able to interpret the knowledge acquired in the field by integrating it with the knowledge from different disciplines, to create new knowledge (skill) and to use it in interdisciplinary studies, to produce original approaches (area-specific competence, skill) and to lead interdisciplinary studies. |
|
| OP-3 : | Developing a new idea, method, design and/or application that brings innovation to the field, or applying a known idea, method, design and/or application to a different field, researching, comprehending, designing, adapting an original subject independently (Skill and learning competence) |

| OP-4 : | To be able to bring original solutions to the complex problems encountered in the field based on advanced research methods and current developments (skill), to develop original methods and ideas (Knowledge and Skill), and to implement and manage them by making strategic decisions (ability to work independently and take responsibility). |

| OP-5 : | To be able to produce original works based on the quantitative and qualitative data obtained from their studies, and to transfer them to groups in and outside the field, including international platforms, by communicating effectively in Turkish and foreign languages in written, oral and visual formats (communication and social competence, field-specific competence). |

| OP-6 : | To be able to use information and communication technologies at an advanced level along with computer software at the level required by the field (communication and social competence). |

| OP-7 : | Being able to control social, scientific, cultural and ethical values and teach these values (area-specific competence) in the stages of collecting, interpreting, applying and announcing the data related to the field. |

| OP-8 : | To be able to develop strategies, policies and implementation plans on issues related to his field and to evaluate the results obtained within the framework of quality processes (area-specific competence). |
