| Objectives of the Programme : |

| The main objective of curriculum of Mechanical Engineering Department is to provide a professional education and a career both for the students of undergraduate and graduate programs. In association with its primary purpose, it is also aimed to graduate engineers well educated parallel to the rapidly developing technology with required knowledge and ability to transmit this knowledge to practice and having ability to make analyses and syntheses in a wide range of related areas of mechanical engineering. |

| Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | will have a broad and in-depth knowledge at least in one of the sub-fields of Mechanical Engineering (Mechanics, Machine Dynamics and Control, Construction and Manufacturing, Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer, Materials, Energy, Automotive), and be able to evaluate, interpret and applies the knowledge. |

| OP-2 : | think out-of-box in asking research questions in the field of his/her study, constructs the research problem, determines and designs the boundaries of the study by considering the social and environmental dimensions, and applies innovative methods in solution. |

| OP-3 : | follows, reads, understands and interprets the international literature in the field of study. |
|
| OP-4 : | publish the results obtained from their studies in an understandable way and in accordance with ethical principles in respected journals. |
|
| OP-5 : | can communicate verbally and in writing using English at least at the European Language Portfolio C1 General Level about the experimental and theoretical results obtained from their studies. |
|
| OP-6 : | will have advanced and complementary knowledge in the field of Mechanical Engineering, share the knowledge produced from the studied with the society observing the ethical rules. |
