| Objectives of the Programme : |

| The purpose of Furniture and Decoration program is to supply qualified technical staffs that are needed in production organization of sector with suitable service and quality sense. |

| Learning Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | Ability to read technical and vocational drawings; drawing and design skills. |
|
| OP-2 : | Knowledge of basic operations in furniture manufacturing; ability to perform calculations such as cost, sales price, etc. |
|
| OP-3 : | Ability to create technical and vocational drawings related to furniture and decoration using computer-aided design software; basic proficiency in using computer software and information and communication technologies in conjunction with furniture and decoration. |
|
| OP-4 : | Ability to create programs for CNC machines and knowledge of production methods. |
|
| OP-5 : | Ability to recognize and distinguish materials used in furniture and decoration design and production; knowledge of production methods and the importance of ergonomics in furniture. |
|
| OP-6 : | Understanding of measurement, inspection, tools, and equipment; ability to contribute to the process during manufacturing and afterwards in quality control units, quality assurance, and standards management. |

| OP-7 : | Understanding the importance of occupational health and safety in the workplace. |
|
| OP-8 : | Knowledge of mass production methods and the machines used. |
|
| OP-9 : | Knowledge of environmental health and precautionary measures. |
|
| OP-10 : | Understanding of entrepreneurship; ability to communicate verbally and in writing, participate in teamwork, and take individual responsibility when necessary. |

| OP-11 : | Ability to design and execute projects and analyze their results. |
|
| OP-12 : | Awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning; ability to access information related to the field and continuously update oneself. |

| OP-13 : | Sufficient proficiency in a foreign language related to the field. |

| OP-14 : | Effective use of Turkish language; oral and written communication skills. |

| OP-15 : | Knowledge of Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolutions. |
