| Objectives of the Programme : |

| The aim of the Master's Program in the Department of Surgical Diseases Nursing is to train specialist nurses who have planning, organizing, supervisory and developer features in order to make nursing services more effective and efficient; be able to use knowledge, skills and advanced technology effectively within the understanding of quality service; able to plan education based on research findings; able to communicate effectively with different segments of society; able to use in the professional and academic field by following scientific developments. |

| Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | Develops and deepens the knowledge of the field at the level of expertise; comprehend the relationship of the knowledge he has reached with different disciplines. |

| OP-2 : | Handles and evaluates the normal physiological process of the body and the conditions that arise due to the disease at the cellular level. |
|
| OP-3 : | Knows the use of technical equipment, devices and tools required by health applications related to the field, including information and communication technologies, at an advanced level; uses the information he has accessed. |

| OP-4 : | Has basic biostatistics knowledge about the field and uses at least one statistical analysis program effectively and accurately. |

| OP-5 : | Plans, implements, interprets and reports experimental research by using different research methods to create new evidence-based knowledge about the field. |

| OP-6 : | Develops new strategic approaches and finds solutions by taking responsibility in complex situations related to social, scientific, cultural and ethical problems. |

| OP-7 : | Carries out works independently and/or as a team, takes responsibility; adopts interdisciplinary work. |

| OP-8 : | Independently evaluates, researches, publishes in a national journal and/or presents it at scientific meetings, with a systematic approach, on a subject that will bring innovation to the field. |

| OP-9 : | Evaluates the information related to the field with a critical perspective and uses decision making skills with a systematic approach in solving possible problems. |

| OP-10 : | Adopts the principles of lifelong learning and follows the scientific developments in the field. |

| OP-11 : | Communicates effectively with experts, discusses the issues with a critical perspective and defends their original thoughts. |

| OP-12 : | Uses at least one foreign language at an advanced level and communicates with experts in their fields in written, verbal and visual communication within the scope of science and technology policy. |
