| The main objective of the program is to provide the required knowledge for the rapidly developing science and technology, and to graduate technicans well educated parallel to the developing technology with the required knowledge and ability to transmit these knowledge to practice, and having the ability to make analyses and syntheses. |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | Have knowledge of basic mathematics and science. |

| OP-2 : | Know production methods and select the most appropriate method. |
|
| OP-3 : | Recognize the materials, decide on methods of heat treatments and choose appropriate material for manufacturing. |

| OP-4 : | Know the rules of drawing and designing of machine parts, design properly and design and analyze a system. |

| OP-5 : | Design machine parts using softwares. |
|
| OP-6 : | Know the working principles of CNC and prepare production programmes for machine parts manufacturing using CAD/CAM softwares. |

| OP-7 : | Select appropriate cutter and cutting parameters for workpieces. |

| OP-8 : | Arrange the production, prepare process card, set and control the distribution of tasks. |

| OP-9 : | Follow further developments in CAD-CAM. |

| OP-10 : | Understand and realize the requirement of life long learning. |
