Objectives of the Programme :
The main objective of the Laboratory Technology program is to train qualified individuals who are researchers, love to produce, have self-confidence, follow the rules of ethics, contribute to the development of related sectors, contribute to socio-cultural life in society, have sufficient technical education, knowledge and skills, and follow technological developments. The objectives of the Laboratory Technology program are to teach laboratory techniques, to teach the use of tools and devices to be used in analysis and to gain the ability to work in the laboratory on their own. In addition; It is also aimed to train intermediate staff who can make applied analysis and evaluate the analyzes.
 
Learning Outcomes of the Programme :
Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to :
OP-1 : Understanding the structural features and richness of the Turkish language leads to native language awareness

OP-14 : Acquires theoretical knowledge about the physical, chemical, and microbiological properties of foods, explains the functions of additives, and can conduct applied analyses.
OP-15 : Becomes knowledgeable about the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
OP-16 : Can perform chemical analyses using instrumental analysis methods and classical methods.
OP-17 : Knows chemical processes and industrial production methods and technologies.
OP-18 : Learns some basic biochemistry terms and knows basic analysis methods in biochemistry.
OP-19 : Acquires theoretical knowledge about plant and soil analyses.
OP-20 : Knows physical and chemical separation techniques, decides on the separation methods used in the analysis of the given sample.
OP-21 : Communicates effectively within the responsibilities of the profession and makes relevant regulations
OP-22 : Along with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge, gains new talents and techniques for the career.
OP-23 : Acquires the ability to transfer acquired knowledge to others.
OP-24 : Performs basic calculations in professional practice.
OP-25 : Adheres to laboratory safety rules in performed tasks.
OP-26 : Knows, applies, interprets, and reports chemical analysis methods.
OP-27 : Knows chemical analysis techniques for environmental samples, applies them, and evaluates them according to relevant regulations.
OP-28 : Knows basic concepts related to standardization and quality.
OP-29 : Acquires the skill to make presentations in public
OP-30 : Knows the principles of quantitative and qualitative methods used in drug analysis, interprets how these methods can be applied to raw materials and pharmaceutical products.
OP-31 : Knows the concepts of color and dyestuff, acquires basic knowledge about textile and dyeing processes.
OP-32 : Can express and evaluate scientific research results using statistical methods based on obtained data.
OP-33 : Becomes knowledgeable about natural cosmetics, synthetic cosmetics, and knows how cosmetic products are analyzed.
