| Objectives of the Programme : |

| The programs aim is to present students with the contemporary learning, teaching and assessment approaches in biology education and to provide them with skills to evaluate the results of these approaches in practice. |

| Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | have knowledge in the field of biology education at mastery level. |

| OP-2 : | use and apply his knowledge in the field of biology education at mastery level. |
|
| OP-3 : | contribute to the knowledge-base in the field of biology education through conducting research. |
|
| OP-4 : | have knowledge about the relationships between Biology Education and related disciplines |

| OP-5 : | make suggestions to solve problems in biology education using quantitative and qualitative research methods. |
|
| OP-6 : | actively take part in group works in scientific research on biology education; fulfil her/his responsibilities, open to collaboration and become a leader if required. |

| OP-7 : | adopt lifelong learning strategies and employ these strategies when carrying out her/his studies. |

| OP-8 : | share the developments in biology education and her/his research to the people in verbal and written formats. |

| OP-9 : | investigate critically the social relationships in vocational and professional settings and the norms that guide these relationships. |

| OP-10 : | use a foreign language to follow research in his/her field, to communicate and to produce scientific research. |

| OP-11 : | use information and communication technologies in her/his studies at biology education. |

| OP-12 : | conduct her/his studies considering ethical values. |
