| Objectives of the Programme : |

| Endodontics program aims to provide candidates with the knowledge on physical, radiological and pathological examination methods which are required to undertake specialist level diagnosis and menagement and treatment planning of endodontic diseases. |

| Outcomes of the Programme : |

| Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to : |
| OP-1 : | The student remembers and evaluates the information in the field of embryology, histology and physiology of the pulp/periradicular complex that can be discussed at an academic level |
|
| OP-2 : | Recalls and evaluates information in the fields of microbiological, infectious and immunological processes, and the mechanisms of inflammation and healing of pulpal and periradicular diseases that can be discussed at an academic level |
|
| OP-3 : | Recalls and evaluates the differential diagnosis, test and clinical examination methods of pulpal and periapical diseases that can be discussed at an academic level |
|
| OP-4 : | Recalls and evaluates information that can be discussed at an academic level in the fields of orofacial and endodontic pain |

| OP-5 : | Uses the theoretical/practical skills to prepare and independently conduct a research project |
|
| OP-6 : | Follows, absorbs, discusses and transfers national / international academic publications in the field |
|
| OP-7 : | Applies appropriate emergency treatment in infections of endodontic origin |
|
| OP-8 : | Effectively designs and implements studies on current endodontic methods and treatments |
|
| OP-9 : | Applies devital bleaching procedures |
|
| OP-10 : | Takes responsibility within the research team and/or conducts independent studies |

| OP-11 : | Reaches the competence to apply current restorative/prosthetic treatments in endodontically treated teeth |

| OP-12 : | Interprets traditional radiographs and digital images |
|
| OP-13 : | Applies surgical/non-surgical primary/secondary endodontic treatments |
|
| OP-14 : | Reaches the competence to diagnose and treat traumatic injuries of teeth and surrounding tissues |

| OP-15 : | Prepares scientific publications in national/international refereed journals, makes presentations at national/international meetings |
