Contents of the Course
Laws of thermodynamics and their application to the chemical behavior of materials systems. Multicomponent systems, phase and chemical reaction equilibria. Reaction equilibria between condensed materials and a gaseous phase, Oxidation of metals and Ellingham diagram.Calculate equilibrium conditions when chemical reactions take place.Thermodynamics of phase transformations.
