The aim of the course:
The purpose of this course is to teach students how to build orebody modelling and to design surface and underground mines by using a computer aided package program.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : identify the components of a computer system and demonstrate basic proficiency in commonly used software in mining applications.3,111,3,4,

Contents of the Course
Computer applications in mining operation, introduction of mining softwares, use of drilling data, orebody modelling and reserve calculation, block modelling, planning and design of surface and underground mine, case studies on mining applications.
