The aim of the course:
To learn basic geodetic concepts and to be able to perform engineering activities related to underground measurements and mining mapping

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Introduction to Geodesy, and definition of relationship between Geodesy and Mining Engineering, Measurements units such as angle and lenght, measurements errors, measurements with basic surveying instruments, application of points and lines to terrain, length measure, area computation, height measurements and leveling, geometric leveling, Basic concepts of underground measurements, Underground length and angle measurements, Underground leveling, volume calculation, Geodesic GNSS systems.
