Importance of process mineralogy for mineral processing and hydrometallurgical processes, techniques used in process mineralogy, important mineralogical aspects for mineral processing and leaching. Mineralogical analysis by x-ray diffraction, quantitative XRD methods, use of XRF for chemical analysis. Electron microscopy; scanned and transmitted beams. Identification of minerals. |
