The aim of the course:
To inform the students about the Earth's structural evolution and structures developep within the rocks on its surface.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Introduction and definition, various forces in geological sense, stress, strain (deformation) , attitude of planar structures, attitude of linear structures, stereographic projection technique, folds, stereographic solutions with folds, joints, joint analysis, faults, stereographic solutions with faults, cleavage structure, linear structures. Topographic maps, geological maps and sections, geologic map symbols, formation line and draw., cross section, colon section, discordances, faults and folds on geological maps.
