The aim of the course:
Definition of tourist, tourism and tourism sites and areas, assessment of tourism potential of sites and areas, carrying capacities, physical, social and economic aspect of tourism, role of tourism in economy (national, regional and local) are the main concerns to be given the students, strategies for sustainable tourism.

Contents of the Course
Tourism, type of tourists, appropriate sites and areas for tourism; Areas to be opened for touristic use, tourism potentials; Estimation techniques of tourism potentials; Spatial, Social, economic and environmental effects of tourism; Principles of tourism site/area planning (physical and social) .
