The aim of the course:
To give information about architecture and architectural practice to the student, to introduce planning and design processes in architecture, to explain the human-environment relationship, the building-environment relationship, to give information about the formation of spaces

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : They will be able to summarize the field of architecture science and application, classify the components and building typologies of a building.3,9,151,3,
LO - 2 : They will be able to explain the function-form relationship in the buildings, they will be able to recognize it within the urban texture.3,9,151,
LO - 3 : They will be able to evaluate the function-land-building relationship in the context of open and closed space.3,9,151,3,
LO - 4 : They will be able to establish the relationship of the building with the outdoors within the framework of functions, topography, transportation, etc. within the framework of restrictors and express them with visual techniques.3,9,151,3,

Contents of the Course
Analysis of building typologies such as housing, education, management, health, culture, etc. Examination of the building form within the urban space, urban texture. Building form interactions with land size and form. Building interior and outdoor relations.
