The aim of the course:
Inform about urban geology which is and important elements of secure and sustainable urban development, and its use in planning.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Students will be able to describe the evolution of earth and geological processes, and identify main rocks and minerals11,121,
LO - 2 : Students will be able to show graphicly the structural elements of earth causing formation of earth surface11,121,
LO - 3 : Students will be able to interpret topography and geological formations on maps11,121,
LO - 4 : Students will be able to apply model development mechanism of hazards, and use this knowledge in location selection11,121,

Contents of the Course
Minerals and rocks; Strüktürel geology, surface geology, hydrogeology, engineering geology; Geologycal maps, land slide, earthquake, coastal damages; Geologycal structure and land use planning; Sensitivity to natural disasters and location selection analysis; Legal frame.
