The course aims to provide the students with planning thought and theories from early post war theory to planning theory to 1990s such as town planning as physical planning and design to system planning, rational comprehensive planning, paradigm shifts, modernism and post modernism etc. |

The course will address on theory in planning, planning in theory; rational comprehensive planning, system planning, advocative planning and pluralism, pragmatism, modernism and post modernism in planning, sustainability; planning process; plan evaluation techniques. |
