The aim of the course:
Teaching basic concepts and theories of economics that relate directly/indirectly to some courses (urban and regional development, public policies, economics of real estate, etc. ) of following semesters.

Contents of the Course
An overview of basic macro-micro economic concepts and theories; Supply and demand; Consumer, behaviour, competition-imperfect competition theories. National income and employment theory. Development theories. Economic structure of Turkey and development-growth history. International economics.
