The aim of the course:
Understanding basic concepts relating to macroeconomics, comprehending general equilibrium and factors affecting this equilibrium, describing economic policies, explaining reasons and results of international relations of trade, and investigating dynamics relating to growth process of economy.

Contents of the Course
National Income Accounting: Gross national product, gross domestic product, national income and disposable income. Unemployment: Population, active population, labor, employment and unemployment. General Price Level: Inflation, deflation, disinflation, reflation and Phillips curve. Aggregate Expenditures: Theories of consumption, investment expenditures, government expenditure, export and import. Analysis of Aggregate Demand-Aggregate Supply: General equilibrium of economy and economic policies. Keynesian Equilibrium Models: Fiscal policy, paradox of saving. Money and Banking: Supply for money, demand for money, central banking, banking system and monetary policy. International economics: Theories of foreign trade, exchange rate and balance of payments. Economic Growth and Development.
