The aim of the course:
The principal aims of this course is to determine the optimum strategy/strategies for dealing with a given situation or confrontation.

Contents of the Course
This course will focus on game theory and its uses in economics. Game theory studies situations where individual decisions are independent and where economic agents rationally account for this independence by behaving strategically. The course will motivate interest in game theory through examples and will develop the basic framework and theory to analyze games of strategy. Furthermore this course emphasis will be put on illustrating the insights of game theory through the study of selected economic applications.
