The aim of the course:
Mining engineering applications is directly related with the knowledge of mining regulations and legislations. It is not possible to obtain any mining right and to follow any procedure during the exploitation stages without knowing mining regulations. Mining laws and other regulations put an extra responsibility for mining engineers. The course was intended to provide students with a detailed knowledge of their responsibilities and mining legislation and regulations

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : have knowledge about history of mining regulations in Turkey.6,10,13,14
LO - 2 : have knowledge mining law, mining right and mining property, limitations to use mining rights.6,10,13,14

Contents of the Course
History of mining regulations in Turkey, official associations for mining, scope of the mining law, mining right and mining property, limitations to use mining rights, regulations for mine exploration, mine operating license, mining register, taxes and dues in mining, conflicts in mining.
