The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a research from past to present in the direction of trends on relationship between life forms and sitting, and transformation and evolution of sitting action into sitting element in different cultures. Treatment of design process, trends and elements used. Providing the students with proper concept of understanding in producing scientific and well-design furniture.

Research on the relationship of sitting action and sitting element studying socio-cultural features carefully under the titles: Archaic Eygpt, Mezopotomia, Greek, Rome, Middle Age, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, New Age (1453-1789) , The Period from 1789 A. D. to the Present, Early 20th Century, Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, De Stijl, Bauhaus, Mid-20th Century, Pop Culture, Post Modernism, End of 20th Century
