The aim of the course:
To investigate the methods of machining processes for shaping the work pieces, tools and their properties. To give the information related to workbench design by investigating main functional parts workbenches used in machining processes.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : learn the tools and workbenches required for manufacturing a work pieces 1,2,3,41
LO - 2 : recognize and use tools required for manufacturing 1,2,3,41
LO - 3 : recognize and use workbenches required for manufacturing 1,2,3,41
LO - 4 : design the tools and workbenches required for manufacturing 1,3,41
LO - 5 : remove the errors could be occurred in workbenches 2,3,41
LO - 6 : develope the codes for machining the work piece in NC and CNC workbenches1,2,3,41

Fundamentals of general machining processes. Tool materials. Cutting tools. Cutting forces, cutting times. Driving powers. Types of slide ways. Work spindles. Driving in machine tools and gear box.
