The aim of the course:
Identifying the problems that users having different competence, ability and disabilities face in their daily life and producing inclusive space solutions for these problems

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
User factor in design, disadvantaged users, elderly and disability concepts; Universal design: history, definition and principles; Accessibility and usability for all and design criterias; Accessible entrance, wc-bath, kitchen design; evaluation- application- solution suggestions; Problems that disadvantaged groups come across in the built environment (public buildings, houses)- evaluation- solution suggestions-discussion.
