The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to give students a broad view on the protection of cultural heritage; to introduce theories, techniques and methods in the field of urban conservation, focusing on conservation and planning problems and solution proposals, examples of new construction in the historical environment and examples from our country and the world. To understanding the importance of socio-cultural, economic and environmental importance of sustainable protection of cultural heritage.

Contents of the Course
Establishing conservation plans of urban areas where cultural heritage is intense, the historical background of the concept of urban protection, the conceptual framework of urban conservation, conservation approaches-methods, conservation areas ? protected areas and national ? international conservation legislation, historic(sit)district, renovation and revival concepts and discussing national - international conservation and renovation projects.
