The aim of the course:
To bring skills that are able to analyse and detail of building facade systems, make of appropriate system and material selection and express an opinion about facades of existing buildings.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

LO - 2 : determine facade sytem type using in existing building and materials of construction, understand details and practice principles of their. 9,121,6,
LO - 3 : evaluate performances of different kind of facade systems in terms of building physics9,121,6,

Contents of the Course
Concept of facade in buildings, building facade systems and their classification, facade covering materials, factors effecting facade system design in terms of building physics, evaluating of facade systems with examples and student presentations.
