The aim of the course:
To give general information about the types of decoration used in buildings in the history of Turkish architecture and the characteristic of their usage areas.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : To summarize the general characteristics and character of decoration in Islamic art.4,51
LO - 2 : To realize the interaction between periods and regions in the emergence of the decoration used in Turkish architecture.4,51

LO - 4 : Understand the main motif, composition and stylistic features used in Turkish-Islamic architecture 4,51

The definition and scope of the art of decoration, which is one of the main elements of the culture, art comprehension and style of the nations, the use of decoration in Turkish-Islamic culture, motifs in the art of Turkish decoration, decoration styles according to periods
