The aim of the course:
This course will contribute to develop a sense of perception in urban scale and by evaluated perceptions then will be applied to urban space, creating successful adaptive designs for urban life .

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Fundemental concepts of the city: space-urban space-city realtion; Role of the buildings in forming urban space and legibility; Lynchian approach and cognitive maps; space-place and relation of identity; urban identity; Readings on Selected cities and comparisons.
