The aim of the course:
To provide the students with a general knowledge on quality control of forest products. To plan acceptance sampling. Standard sampling plans. Statistical process control and quality improvement methods.

Contents of the Course
Basic terminology. Statistical methods in quality control. Acceptance sampling. Sampling plans. Single sampling. Double sampling. Multiple and sequential sampling and standard sampling plans. Statistical process control. Control charts for variables and attributes. Quality control costs. TS ISO 9000/2000 Quality Assurance Sysytems. Quality improvement methods. Total quality Management.
