The aim of the course:
is to understand the genesis, concepts of facies and environment of micro sediments of carbonate rocks, optimal approach casts in problems encountered in practice, using criterias of environment and improving ability of explications.

Contents of the Course
Definition; accumulation condition and depositional environment of the carbonate rocks; microfacies criteria; micro-sedimentary textures; cement type; sub-facies of the carbonate rocks; carbonate diagenesis; classification of the Folk and Dunham; platform to basin carbonates; calciturbidites and tectono-sedimentary approach.
