The aim of the course:
The cource aims to explain to the students environmental effects and results of geological phenomenon. In addition to explain to the studenst how to use enviromental geochemistry for healty and cleaner enviroment.

Contents of the Course
Examination of human interaction with the geologic environment. Natural and man-made environmental problems. Geologic hazards such as earthquakes, floods, landslides, and volcanic eruptions will be considered. Natural resource and waste management, and human impacts on the physical environment. Artificial pollution causing incidents and solutions. Causes and methods of prevention of air pollution, soil and water. Health problems caused by pollution. Trace elements and health.
