| This course is an applied study in the field and office in the summer term. As part of this course, the course provides students, - Field investigation methods. -Description of the geologist's main field work equipment. - How do you read a topographic map and and using them in the field, -Finding location in the field and determining direction, -Processing geological geological data on topographic maps (drawing formation boundary, recording measurements of slope and direction, fault and fold lines), Practical methods of using geologist compass (direction, slope and direction measurements), Methods of stratigraphic section measurement and section measurements, Systematic and point sampling in the field. Producing a geological report linked field studies. |
