The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to introduce the students to all aspects of toxicology, in particular: toxicity testing, environmental toxicology and regulatory toxicology.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : explain the chemicals that cause damage to living systems.as well as their mode of actions1,7,9,121,5

Background and principles of toxicology, absorption, distribution, excretion, and metabolism, toxic agents, metals, pesticides, carcinogenesis, mutagenesis, development and reproductive toxicology, risk assessment.
